Young animals with known disqualifications that are not showable and are of little to no value in a breeding program, but otherwise happy and healthy. Older animals that are being retired from a breeding program and ready for a lovable, cushy home with lots of love!
Price Range: $20-40
Brood quality animals may be older show quality animals that are ready for breeding or have been used for breeding. Lower valued brood quality animals may have known faults or disqualifications which prevent them from being showable, but is not significant enough for them to not be potentially valuable in a breeding program. It will be disclosed if an animal is a proven breeder or not yet bred. There is no guarantee that your purchased animal will successfully breed as this is subject to a variety of factors outside of our control.
Price Range: $30-50
Animals that have been evaluated and deemed to be worthy of being shown – free of known disqualifications from competition with special attention to breed and variety DQs, and major faults that would prevent it from doing well on a show table. These are animals that can be shown, possibly have been shown, and are generally considered to be a worthy representative for the breed and variety according to the Standard of Perfection. There is no performance guarantee that an animal purchased for show will earn rewards or recognition. If animal has been shown and won legs, these will be provided to the buyer.
Price Range: $40-75
Depending on what you are looking for in a showmanship animal our cavies will fit your needs. All our cavies are handled regularly, are very well mannered and friendly. They have been worked with on how to pose and be evaluated.
If you want to be competitive in a breed show, it is recommended to get a show quality animal which can also be used for showmanship, however it can be harder to point out faults and DQs. A brood or pet quality cavy may be your best showmanship animal, even though it will not do well in a breed show. Some youth find it easier to do showmanship with an animal that has easily identifiable faults and disqualifications especially if they are learning. We will be happy to assist you with making the best decision that will fit your needs.
Animals purchased as pets that are of brood or show quality will not be discounted to pet quality pricing.
We occasionally have used cages and other supplies for sale. Items will be in good, like new, or new condition and will be cleaned and sanitized before being sold.
Interested in our cavies but don’t live near us? We are happy to work with ground transportation all over the United States! We will list any available animals on our website or social media accounts so be sure to check back regularly to see what we have available. If you are looking for something specific, please contact us about what we might have available in the near future.
Pickup is available at or around our location in Phoenix, Arizona. We also offer pickup or transport at any shows we are planning on attending. All animals going on a transport route must be paid in full. Food to cover the transport route as well as for transitioning will be provided.
Ground transportation is offered by a variety of individuals and businesses online. It can take time to find a ground transporter as they typically run routes at various times of the year. It is important to also be mindful when seeking a route to find a route that is going the correct direction (North to South, East to West). Not all transport routes will come directly to your city or mine. Depending on the timing of the route, I may be available to meet a transporter outside of Phoenix, but still in Arizona. Ground transportation typically charges per animal or hole per the route, and mileage is not a factor (typically $30-$100). It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange transportation that fits both parties’ schedules. The transporters set their own schedules, stops and fees, and the buyer should contact them directly for this information as their routes and rates may be different or change. I will also get in contact with the transporter to be aware of any changes to the schedule and stops.
If the ground transport does not provide a carrier, we also have transport kits available for $60 that include a carrier, food crock, water bottle, and bedding for the trip that will come with the animal.
Below are ground transporters we have worked with in the past and recommend. We will work with other transporters, but strongly encourage when looking for a transporter to do as much research as possible to vet the transporter. The internet is full of scammers looking to take advantage of naive, ignorant people who don’t know who to trust, how the process works, and are desperate to make a connection happen. There is no pressure on our end to rush transport. We would rather you get the animal to you safely and in one piece without you being scammed or worse something bad happening to the animal. We will also look into the history and reviews of any transporter you select to make sure they are known and safe transporters to protect both you the buyer and the animal.

Please check out our article on “How to Find a Transporter” on our resource page if you are needing further guidance.
PLEASE NOTE: Although I will work with transport to ensure your new critter is ready and healthy when picked up or dropped off, I cannot ensure the welfare of your animal once they are in the hands of the transporter. As a buyer you will assume all responsibility once the animal has left my care. I am not responsible for and damages, illnesses, injuries or death caused during transport or after arrival. Please consider this when choosing a transportation method and thoroughly read the transporters documentation regarding their liability if provided during the booking process. Transportation is always associated with risks and animals handle situations differently and unpredictably. With that being said, I will always offer refunds if something were to happen to your piggy while in my care before going on transport. However, absolutely NO REFUNDS, will be given once your piggy has left my care via transport. Thank you for your understanding!
All information provided is correct to the best of our knowledge (ex: sex, age, pedigree, health history, show history, breeding history, etc.). We strongly encourage potential buyers do their due diligence and double check our sale animals to evaluate health, gender, against the show standards SOP, or any other characteristics they deem important for themselves before purchasing. For online purchases, we will do our best to answer any questions you have and provide requested pictures to help with evaluation.
DISCLAIMER – Photo quality is subject to a variety of factors including lighting, angles, and animal cooperation. We will try to take the best quality and most accurate photos to help you with your purchasing decisions. However, we will not be held responsible if the animal does not exactly resemble the pictures taken.
No – Due to the tactics employed by scammers online we will never ask for a deposit to hold an animal for purchase. Instead, we utilize an “INTENT TO PURCHASE” form for any pre-sold animals that will go on transport; that will be picked up later at shows, specialty, or convention; or arranged for pick-up at our home or a public location. This protects our buyers and provides a clear written arrangement between buyer and seller outlining the selling price, terms of presale, and termination upon no hear/no show after the agreed upon pickup timeframe. We will not hold animals forever, but are flexible and willing to work with you if you match our energy and enthusiasm with getting the animal. All animals going on a transport route must be paid in full.
WAIT LIST - If at any time a wait list is utilized, we will work off the waiting list before offering an animal for sale on this page. We reserve the right to hold any animals back for our own program, or refuse sale to anyone.
All animals are guaranteed to be in known, visible good health at the time of sale. Once the animal is out of our possession, we will not be held responsible for any future expenses. Any mishandling, injury or illness during transport or by the new owner is not included in this guarantee. When a buyer receives a cavy, they will have 48 hours to contact us about any health concerns including major health conditions or sudden death. In the event of an illness, we will help diagnose and triage the situation with you as many animals are subject to stress and other factors when being transported and going into a new environment (ex: shipping fever, fungal breakouts, parasite exposure, etc.). Many of these issues can be resolved simply and affordably at home. If you choose to seek a veterinarian’s advice for any health issues the cost will 100% be assumed by the buyer. If you are not satisfied with the animal’s condition, health, quality AND have contacted us within the first 48 hours we will take the animal back and give a 50% refund provided the animal can be returned to our care in a timely manner (no longer than a week). Refunds are only available to in-state purchases due to having no control or guarantee of what may happen during transport.
Buying a cavy from a breeder is always better than buying from the pet store because those cavies have most likely never been handled much by anyone before ending up at the pet store. Our cavies are handled extensively from birth by a variety of people including little children, older children, and adults to be more used to human interaction. Generally, our cavies are quiet and well mannered, easily handleable and not afraid of being held. Being in a new environment should not change their behavior drastically, however they are still animals and their behavior is not always predictable. If you are new to cavies and are nervous about handling and being around them, they will pick up on that energy and may act accordingly. We will be happy to help you learn how to interact with your new furry friend.
We cannot guarantee a pig’s temperament or ability to bond with any pigs you have. Each animal has it's own unique personality and while it is generally accepted that certain sexes or age demographics get along well in groups, this is not always the case. Going into a new environment, with unfamiliar handlers, and new cage companions can be an uncertain and trying time as the cavy adjusts and establishes it's place in its new home.
We can help you verify the sex of any cavies you have to ensure you are getting a same-sex matching animal unless you are planning on breeding. If you are planning on breeding cavies, we strongly encourage you to do your research, join a breed organization, get a Standard of Perfection and have a goal and purpose for your breedings as well as a plan of what to do with the offspring.
If you decide it is not working out for you we will work with you to do what is best for the animal. (SEE BUYERS REMORSE POLICY)
All cavies are welcome back again if their new family’s situation changes – meaning that they cannot be kept for a variety of reasons (allergies, finances, getting along with other animals, kids got bored, etc.) for the life of the animal. We would like the opportunity to assist you with finding potential solutions to any issues you may have, but we understand that life happens, and things don’t always work out. We would much rather see them return to us for re-homing than end up in pet stores or unknown situations. If at any point you are unable to keep a cavy bought from us, contact us to see if we have the appropriate room and accommodations to take it back.
Initial purchase - Within the first week of purchase, baring health issues (see Health Guarantee), we will accept a return of the animal and will give 100% refund if we were unable to resolve your issue. A refund will only be issued if the animal is returned in the same clean, healthy, and sound condition it was sold in.
No refund will be given beyond the one week return window as we will be taking back on the care expense of the animal until it can be re-homed or remain with us.
